Spring is here, and it's yet again the time to get plants growing. I never considered myself as one with a green thumb but seeing my neighbor's garden in bloom somewhat makes me want to give gardening a shot. I thought that it's probably a good idea if I start growing flowers in pots, and in my quest to know about the ultra basics of gardening, I came across Expand ‘n Gro™ with Miracle-Gro Concentrated Planting Mix.
Expand 'n Gro is an easy solution to produce luscious and beautiful garden for spring and summer. When mixed with native soil, Expand 'n Gro concentrated planting mix loosens and aerates soil creating up to 90% more air space than native soil alone, thus moisture and nutrients can reach plant roots. It expands up to three times when mixed with water and feeds plants for up to six months. I read that it also yields thrice as big and beautiful plants when compared to native soil. Its all-natural fiber component retains up to 50% water than basic potting soil. As well, It's a good thing to know (especially for garden novice like me) that Expand 'n Gro not only works in ground but also for plants in containers like pots too! You just have to choose a pot with a drainage hole and a saucer, fill the pot one third of the way with Expand n' Gro, add water gradually and stir, watch the mix expand, and plant as you normally would. Easy enough for beginners like me, I think ;)
What about you? Have you started prepping your garden yet? You might want to check out Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro and try it out yourselves with a sample size you could receive. This product is available at lawn and garden retailers in the Midwest, Northeast and Texas, as well as for online purchase at Amazon.com Please visit expandngro.com for in-store availability. Feel free to leave a comment to this post, and who knows, you might just receive a sample, and then let me know how it goes, okay? Thanks!
