HELMET DIVING IN BORACAY

The Fantastic Five

One of the activities my family did in Boracay was helmet diving.  Obviously, the rugrat, Pakoy, was too young to do this, so he had to wait on the boat with Mama and Papa, while Tito Bochok, Tita Mae, Tito Vince, Mommy Mcdo and Daddy Alvin put on a 25-pound helmet, submerged themselves in the water, walked on the seabed, and played with and fed different colorful fish.  This wonderful experience was of course documented on camera - photos and video!

I forgot to tuck my stomach in :D

Among the five of us, I was the only one who had a hard time equalizing ear pressure.  The helmet diving masters taught us three ways how to equalize - 1) Swallow; 2) Move your jaw sideways; 3) Pinch your nose and with mouth closed, blow from your nose.  I was successful with the third method but I had to do it several times while underwater.

Helmet diving is definitely a must-try!  Should you get the chance to do it, don't think twice, go for it.  After all, life is too short to miss out on things like that :)

  2. OMG! I can't help but publish a comment, KM! I'd love to do some underwater adventure too.

    Di ba nakakatakot?

  3. I wanna try this! Sobrang cute! And ooohhhh.. More than sexy ka talaga sa pic na'to ate KM! Inggit naman ako sa trip mo. :)

Saka very helpful yung mga diving masters. Hehe!

Kelangan nyo i-try to ni Abdel ;)

  7. Gising pa kaya ako, gosh! I have mixed emotions with this trip. And to think 4am ang alis namin eh 12:58am na ngayon. GEez!

Exciting naman talaga yan, KM! Gustong- gusto ko rin yan. Hopefully before the year ends, I could gather enough guts to go underwater kahit di ako marunong lumangoy, LOL!

  8. Next time kami naman nina Pakoy , mamarose ang mag-try.

  9. Grabe KM, lakas ng loob mo at grabe din dahil andito lang ako kani kanina to check if may new post ka tapos now parang kulelat pa ako na nakaalam. Hahaha!

Tara, praktis swimming tayo ;)

  52. I have lived on Tourism in Boracay for 15 years and loved the place so much i built cohiba. These are the Biggest and Best value for money apartments on the island period ! Every apartment has stunning sea views and 30m2 to 40m2 balconies with which to enjoy it. We are overlooking the windsurfing / kitesurfing bay where the season goes from November to april. Its either a great sport to participate, or great to just sit on your huge terrace and watch.Boracay apartments

  53. Wooot .. Oh so sexy.. ur so sexy :D Ok naman ah? Ganda nga eh. I was freaking nervous super the water behavior drives me nuts! We didn't take that long under the water, I can't even balance my body due to waves. But I had a great time though :)
