My share, at least, for now is:
Caramoan recently has been getting its share of tourism spotlight, ever since it has become the favorite location shoot of international franchises of the famous reality TV game show, Survivor.
Vince hails from Caramoan, so when we visited Philippines in November 2011, I was lucky to get the paradise-feel that Caramoan Islands offer. Although we weren't able to go to Gota Beach (the prime location shoot of Survivor), we were more than happy of our island hopping to Manlawi and Bag-ing.
We took a lot of pictures during our Caramoan island hopping tour, and I'm kinda having a hard time selecting which ones to feature here in my blog, so I'm holding off on posting pics for now, and will just do follow-up posts for that.
In the meantime, I'm leaving you a picture of me and Vince taken at Tribe Inn, a rental inn that his cousin owns. His cousin was able to salvage some of the actual props used in Survivor, and displayed them in his inn as an attraction. Smart, eh? :)
Honeymoon for the nth time. More fun in the Philippines. |
Stay tuned to read more about my Caramoan Islands adventures. Until then! ;)

Hahaha!Anyway, I haven't been to that place yet. It must be really good. Hopefully in the near future.
ReplyDeleteBITIN! Hahaha! I want more pics! :-)
Indeed, it's more fun (not funny) in the Philippines.
Aantayin namin ang iba mo pang pics ha? ;-)
Kakabitin ang mga pics! Hehehe
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know na kahit papanu nakapag enjoy kayo ni Vince sa bakasyon ninyo...
It's indeed more fun in the PH!
@ Lainy, hindi lang Survivor Philippines - naka 10 series na ata jan sa Caramoan, unang una yung Survivor France, tapos may Survivor Israel pa, at iba iba pa. Galing no? More fun in the Philippines talaga :)
ReplyDelete@ Krizza, napakinggan mo ba yung mga tourism songs natin na Pilipinas, Tara Na! ?
I love Caramoan..
ReplyDeleteKapagud nga lang bumiyahe..

ReplyDeletebeen there in caramoan 2 years ago. it was truly memorable but we didnt reach the destination where the survivors were. but it is really a great beauty that caramoan can offer to tourists - a group of virgin and untouched islands.
I couldn't read the texts when your site loads, KM! The fonts are alien, why?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I thought Caramoan Islands is outside the PHilippines. :) Thanks for sharing!
