MY SHOES AND THE TALES THEY TELL

While waiting at the TTC subway, wearing these boots,
a random lady approached me and exclaimed,
"Oh my, what tiny, little feet you have!"

MY HERCULES BOOTS

When I was still living in Toronto, my BFF there used to own a very adorable Pomeranian named Hercules - or Herc for short. Herc, as a puppy, was very friendly and sociable, so he never failed to amuse people. Anyway, one winter time, I went to my BFF's apartment, and Herc, being his usual jolly self, greeted me at the door with his yaps and yelps and wagging tail. So, I said hi to Herc and gave him a little petting, and I went on to take my boots off and headed straight inside the apartment. Not long after I've entered in and my BFF and I had started talking when we noticed that little Herc had been incessantly barking at something by the door. We looked at him and saw that it was my furry boots he's barking at. Herc thought that my boots was a dog! LOL.  Hahaha!  That was funny and cute at the same time.  Herc would nudge at my boots, then he'd back off a bit as if anticipating a comeback from my boots, then would bark at them again.  In the end, my boots disappointed Herc by giving him the silent "deadma" treatment rather than the fight he was hoping for.  Since then, Vince and I called these pair of boots, "Hercules."

Me and the real Herc

  3. Hehehe, that was funny. No wonder for you boots covered with thick furs but they are pretty.

I so love Pomeranian puppies for they are so cute and cuddly but they are sold very expensive here. I got a crossed-breed one - half Pom and half German Shepherd (unbelievably) and she is so cute. Very nice dogs, Poms.

  5. The story about the dog and your boots is so funny. No one would ever accuse me of having small feet. I have very long feet for a woman.

I don't have an Aldo boots. I have a pump though, but I gave it away coz it didn't fit me anymore when my feet size increased when I got pregnant. I haven't bought a new Aldo since then. :D

  12. For women, small feet are like a plus thing. That's what I heard. Anyway, dito nako nag iwan ng message kasi parang flood nako sa cbox mo, eh me limit yan na 100 messages diba? Kakahiya naman, LOL!

Anyway, sometimes kasi when I do blogwalk, I just open every link that's on the cbox so pabalik balik napo ako dito since kanina.

About the post, you're very lucky to be in a place where you can wear stuff like that. That's not really pwede dito specially ours is a tropical country. And I say, your Herc boots look good. And I love the Pomeranian breed, they're cute. Herc looks sweet. I like bigger breeds tho, para kasama pag tumatakbo. Yan kasi maiiwan yan pag nag jog ka. Haha

Meron din ba ditong best commenter? ☺

    2. Ahhh, haha. Yes Ms Balut, intiendes na po. Haha! Ako medyo malaki paa ko kaya hindi ako pwede mamigay ng lumang shoes sa mga cousins kasi para daw silang sumakay sa barko.

Next time, Ms KM will post about her louboutins and mga jimmy choos. Nice! ☺
